Jesus reminds us that the two greatest commandments are:
"To love God with our whole heart, our whole mind, and our whole soul; and to love our neighbor as ourselves". To love our neighbors is to share with them the blessings God has bestowed upon us. 
 
Your generous donations offer us the opportunity to help our neighbors in the light of the Gospel.
In doing so, we act as faithful stewards of the gifts God has given to us and are able to support
the Church's works of evangelization, education and social justice.  
 
As Christians stewards we are called to consider prayerfully the gifts we have received from God,
and then make a generous decision about what will be given on to others
for  “It is in giving that we receive” (St Francis of Assisi)
 

AN IMPORTANT CHANGE TO ONLINE AUTOMATIC GIVING HERE AT RA...

Earlier this year we contracted with Give Central, a new online giving company which includes a new parish database. This new database will allow for greater communication from us and a much needed update to our parishioner records.

If you had previously been enrolled and using Our Sunday Visitor to donate online to RA, please create a new account in Give Central. OSV has voided any parishioner accounts from our parish, and we no longer contract with them for online giving, effective July 1st. Therefore, any online giving you had previously set up will not be in effect.

Signing up with Give Central is easy.  Please visit givecentral.org/res-asc.  You will be asked to create a parishioner profile and have the option to set up automatic donations.

A principios de este año, cambiamos a Give Central, la nueva compañía que maneja las donaciones por internet.  Ellos también manejan nuestra lista de datos personales de los parroquianos. Esta nueva lista de datos permitirá una mejor comunicación de nuestra parte y una actualización muy necesaria de nuestros registros de feligreses.

Annual Catholic Appeal Campaign

Each year Resurrection-Ascension and the Diocese of Brooklyn engage in the Annual Catholic Appeal.  This campaign supports Catholic programs throughout Brooklyn and Queens that benefit countless individuals and families living in our neighborhoods.

How will our parish benefit from this campaign? The ACA goal at Resurrection-Ascension is $76,106. Once we meet our goal, we will receive 100% of all funds raised above this amount. The surplus is sent directly back to our parish and allows us to further our mission in our own community.
